Picture 095On Wednesday, July 17 the Rialto kitchen moves outside into the Charles Courtyard for our Annual Summer Wine Barbecue. This year’s event is an evening under the stars with a regional focus on Puglia, whose coastal towns, silver olive groves, and lush farming land make for some of the most delicious olive oils, tomatoes, eggplants, artichokes, and fresh seafood in the Adriatic. Guests will mix and mingle at the reception sipping wine or a Puglian cocktail while nibbling on hors d’oeuvres. Join us for an evening with old friends, and new, for our annual gourmet Italian summer cookout.

FIRST

Local Burrata… artichoke salad, tomatoes, mint, frico chips

SECOND

Burnt Flour Cavatelli… eggplant, tomato, olive, goat sausage

THIRD

Grilled Striped Bass… charred lemon, garlic, basil, spicy olive oil

DESSERT

Cassata ‘Nuda’… sheep’s milk ricotta cake, chocolate crunch, candied cherries, apricots, almonds, prickly pear sauce
